180sx Kouki Taillights Question (yes i searched)
I know that when you buy a new set of OEM 180sx Kouki Taillights it comes with a new lower garnish that has to be painted, but my question is will the OEM 240sx lower garnish work? From lots of picture comparisons they look like they are the same and should work. Can someone with 180sx taillights answer this one for me?

Not really. I have seen people run them but kouki lights patrude out more than the stock tail lights. I got my lights with out that panel and tried it out but it didnt look good. For 86 bucks you can get a new OEM one.

well im getting a new panel with my new lights, however i just painted my car including that panel and i don't have any more paint left and it would be way easier to use my OEM one.
So the difference between the two is just the distance that it protrudes from the car?? The geometry of the lights are the same? Can anyone possibly show some pics of the difference between the two? |
