My Coolant are running out almost empty.. which bran you guys perfer for the Coolant liquid for a stock KA24DE with Koyo Radiator??

Going to run to the store to get some soon!!! HELP!!

I don't remember what it was called but I always got the premixed 50/50.

It was in a yellow canister. Just get some good stuff.

fifty fifty is a mix of fifty percent of water and the other straight coolant.

it's a good mix, ran it on my SR all the time.

yes, it's prestone.

50/50 is fine

I use zerex g-05 with some blue food coloring for color. no phosphates. mmmmmmmmmm

dexcool.. and distilled water.. it keeps the radiator and all the water jackets extremely clean!!

dexcool? damn dude, when i worked at a shop and did radiator flushes for GM's they always came out gunky and gross as poop. granted most people dont do general maintenece on their cars, but ive seen it with less than 30k....

dex-cool is trash

since it's warming up i run straight up water and redline-wet&wetter, or you can get some "never overheat" or "be-cool" from pep boys, then the rest water.

Yeah, I went to Kragen and got some Redline Wet&water. instead of prestone 50/50.. friend told me that he used on his Evo and works good!!!

wait until you have an improperly bled cooling system with dexcool

If a system running Dex-Cool isn't properly bled of air, then it can react with the coolant & create a snotlike gunk that will f up your passages & radiator. RMI-25 cleans that shit out like nothing. When it's time to fill up with coolant again, flush your system with some radiator cleaner & distilled water until it's clear, then fill with the OEM nissan stuff OR Zerex G-05 with some food coloring of your choice (due to the light color of G-05) & bleed your system well.

I run straight water and water wetter also but I add some antifreeze though. more like 80% water 20% antifreeze and top it off with water wetter. no dex cool please.
