Im not saying that this is the BEST oil in general, but I think its best for me.
I really like the rotella t 5w40 synthetic. $19 a gallon and it is without a doubt good oil. At the same time I guess it depends on what your doing too. My car dont get many miles on it. I change the oil before every event unless they are within 2 weeks of each other too.

Motul 8100.

I run it in my turbo z and sr20 and its amazing. There is actually a thread on my350z.com where people run oil in there car then send it to a testing lab and post the reports up on the forum of how they performed. I know mobile 1 didn't do as good as you would think it would.

I'm running Valvoline turbo diesel 15w-40. I've used that in all my SR's and I love it. One thing to mention though, if you live in a cold climate, you may have trouble getting the car up to temperature.

I used amsoil in my blacktop.

But I heard it will cause oil starvation and blow your engine up if you use it in a redtop.

Redtops are real sensitive like that.

Make sure to go to nissan and order redtop specific oil.

i use ENEOS in my redtop SR,....but i had a question about that.
0W-50 is what i use,....is that to thick for the t28,....i've heard that it's good to use a thinner oil for turbocharged engines.

anyone have more info on this?

i work at a bmw and porsche repair shop and the only oil we put in is Mobile1...... i heave heard that royal purple is better but i talked to my boss about it (who actually does road racing and has experimented with oils) and he said that royal purple doesnt protect the motor that well.....the GC is nice......but the shit we have in america sucks...i would never put it in my cars..... amsoil is awsome but its really expensive.... all in all go with mobile 1.....its the best you can buy off the shelf at any parts store

Motul>RedLine>Mobil 1

Mobil1 is cheaper and more readily available, so I use that more often than the other two
