are tie rod ends the same for both s13 and s14?

i have found answers that say yes, and searched and heard tons of the "run around"...

local shop has some s13 ones, i need some today, will they fit my s14?

so someone settle it, thanks a bunch

s13 and s14 tein tie rods use the same part number.

but moog s13 and s14 have different part numbers

i think they are different. tein rod ends are supposed to work with s14 inner rods.

stock OEM inners/outers are not the same for s13/s14.

Teins inners/outers are the same for s13/s14.

Tein inners are some how compatible with both.

But stock like Flybert says are different.

S13 S14 and Z32 are all usable on any S-Chassis.

OK... Thought this info was known.

Stock S13, S14, S14 Tie Rods (inner) are 10mm thread.
However the S14 Inners are bigger, longer, & stronger then both the S13 and S15.
Stock Tie Rod Ends (outer) are different because of the thread depth... S14 is Longer, S13 and S15 are about the same, and Z32 is shorter.

Tein Tie Rods (inner) are about 10% stronger then Stock S14, and also use a 12mm Thread so they can be used with aftermarket Ends (outer) like Kazama, SPL, etc..
* Tein Tie Rod (inner) and Tie Rod Ends (outer) can NOT be used in combination with the original equipment tie rod and tie rod ends.

URAS, Kazama, etc.. and other Aftermarket Tie Rods (inner) are sigificantly stronger then S14 Stock and Tien... and is mainly the reason for costing twice as much.

Tein is a great alternative for cheep quality replacement and you can use Aftermarket in conjunction... for this IMO Tein is your best bet... however if your bending Rods alot durring Drifting I highly suggest spending a little more on the URAS, Kazama version Rods!!
