Functional parking brake with Q45 brake upgrade?
Alright, so the drivers side rear caliper is seized on my s13 and I decided to go ahead and do a full Q45 swap, however, I can't seem to find any information on how to reconfigure the parking brake to work with the Q45 rear brakes.
Any suggestions? I've read a lot on the 300zx swap and from this 300zx swap guide, it is suggested to either splice the stock cables with the 300zx cables and attach with 8-32 screws to connect the cables together or as a secondary option to reroute the cables through the subframe. Would this work with the q45 setup? I haven't actually bought the q45 set yet, as I want to make sure I can have it all in proper working order before the end of the month (inspection... ) Thank you! Lia Ps: I guess i'm considered a so be nice if I'm making this out to be much more complicated then it really is.
