There's a few career fields that deploy at that rate now. I'm a civil engineer and we're on a 6month deployed/6months at home ratio now. IE I've been here since September and leave in April. Get to spend some time at home and then I'll be right back over here later this year. Blows but somebodys gotta do it. Its not going to take care of itself

yeah got some friends going to combat comm squadrons, they don't even operate with a deployment tempo they get deployed so much. (like spec ops)

the academy i dont really care either way, my job ill be just be maintaining the cadets networks and troubleshooting.
im just excited for the area, I love snowboarding, I love tulleride, so really its just CO springs im super excited about ahah
