*New here* 95 240 issue

Whats up 240 guys. I recently got the GF a 95 240sx. Stock except for coilovers, exhaust and intake.

Now it won't start. She told me the story of how it was running, she turned it off and it wouldn't turn back on, no lights even inside. When we got the car I knew the terminals were bad so, I replaced those and made sure all connections were good. Her Batt turned out to be bad so she got a used one volts check out a 11.9.

I just can't figure out why the inside of the car isn't even getting power.. I checked all fuses too inside and out. The starters getting voltage, I'm new to the 240 game and distributors I'm a Supra guy so im not sure in which order the wiring harness goes and to diagnose. I did notice on the dizzy the 1 prong clip on it that goes to a capacitor thing built on to the dizzy was corroded and fried off. I'm not sure if that won't allow power to flow into the car..

Guess I'm just looking for some guidance on this one guys

Thanks!

*Got the car towed to my house today it was getting late and the mosqitos were out so I couldnt do much. All fuses are good, grounds are good, new batt and cables. But the ALT is not getting voltage. Usually the main feed coming into the ALT has power directly from the batt correct? Leads me to think that between the batt and the alt/starter is the fuse box. Would a bad relay cause any of this?

No power i mean no door lights/ clock anything DEAD lol

Any help would be awesome guys

I'd recommend finding the wiring diagram and properly diagnose the problem. Guessing and throwing parts at a car is a good way to burn a hole in your wallet fast.

Thanks Well I know that much already. I never buy anything I don't have to.

Anyone have a Stock 95 Ka obd2 diagram for the motor. Or know in which order the current flows?

Thanks

Alright guys I got it running. After taking the fuse box apart and seeing the only real reason why power wasn't getting into the car it led to all the big white wires with red stripe, and from that led to The Big Red Plug. Now she said her last car (180sx) had this same plug but it did nothing just dangled.

I added power to it and it started rite up. I let it idle for a little and noticed the plug/white wires were starting to get kinda warm, so I pulled the power wire from it and it continued to run. Once I shut the car off tho this plug needs to see power in order to be started.

Anyone have input on this?

Thanks, Josh

Here you go.

Basically, you have the wrong battery terminal on there and that plug needs to be connected.
