1989 240sx Brake Booster

I need to replace my brake booster, but have not had ANY luck finding one!

Tried 3 auto stores, 2-3 guys that part his cars out-(they had a booster, but they did not pass the vacuum test). Looked on line and all of them say "out of stock." I even tried looking for a place I can send mine to and have it "reman" and send it back, but cannot find any.

There was one place on Rockauto, but it was for ABS booster. The car I have is NONE- abs.

Anyone have an ideas??

Thank you for the offer, but just installed the reman Z32 last night. BOY that was FUN!!!

At least that solved all the brake problems... Bad master cylinder and bad Booster.

I read on a few posts that the top left bolt was hard to reach. Use a 2 foot extension with a deep socket and push it in the gap between the steering wheel shaft and the frame that holds the shaft. Presto, no problem!

Yea, the only issue was the threads were about 3/4 inch longer, had to cut them off to get them to fit into the space between the firewall and other things around the engine.

Also had to bend the brake lines a bit so there was no tension. Master cylinder had to be held in place by wire pulled to the front. The new booster BARELY had room to move around before going into the 4 holes.

Z32 works, and so do B13 ones.

The B13 one is smaller so it offers less assist, but some people prefer that.
