Quail's UK-Spec S14 Kouki
So, after lurking in Bosshogg's and Dolph_KYAS13's threads, I've got jealous and decided to put my own up. After a few years of not doing much with my car, I'm finally getting back in the game. This thread is to keep me accountable/enthused as I prep the car for Spring 2016, at which point I will have owned it for 10 years. I got the car totally stock back in '06. Thankfully, being a UK car, it was fitted with a factory SR. Whilst in my ownership I have performed the following modifications: Exterior UK OEM Bumper w/ Touring Lip Ziax Sideskirts Nismo Rear Bumper and Spats Despoilered Interior UK Touring Black Leather Seats and Doorcards Corbeau Sprint Driver's Seat on Bride Superlow Rail Kognition Gauge Panel 60mm HKS Power Oil Temp Gauge 60mm HKS Power Oil Pressure Gauge 60mm HKS Power Water Temp Gauge ARK Design Active Boost Controller ARK Design Rev Shift Timer ARK Design Multi-Function Dash Broadfield Customs HVAC Panel Personal Neo Grinta 330mm Steering Wheel Titanium Steering Wheel Bolts Suspension and Braking HKS Hipermax Pro Coilovers Cusco Front Strut Brace Apex Subframe Collars 350Z Brembo Front Brakes Wheels Front: 18x9 +16 Work Meister S1 3 Piece Rear: 18x10 +25 Work Meister S1 3 Piece Front: Yokohama Neova AD08 225/40 Rear: Yokohama Neova AD08 255/35 Engine Custom Hardpipes and FMIC System Braided Turbo Lines 3" Downpipe 3" Decat Kakimoto Exhaust This is the car as it currently stands: My tasklist for the run up to Sping '16 includes:

Got my hands on an ARC induction box. Cosmetically it's not in the best shape, but structurally it's perfect. I'll be restoring the metal to its former glory whilst I await a new foam element from Nengun.
I also picked up an original Nismo shift knob, which will be fitted with a B&M short shifter.

me to and I'm not big on s14's. His is just clean and not tacky. Very well done. Could be that color to lol, it goes well with the s14 lines the way it looks purple/blue. Damn, Quail....I have brand new s14 arc box with both style filters for sale lol.

Thanks guys!
The car has a Nismo rear, as seen here (on winter wheels): Here's the standard UK rear on the day I got it home, a decade ago! (Digging out this photo has brought back fond memories of the first drive home - I was 19 and had only owned a SOHC Civic beforehand, so the SR20 and RWD was a new learning curve). The car is the same colour in both photos, but Sapphire Blue seems to change quite a lot depending on the lighting conditions. I took its condition for granted at the time; I don't think there's many clean standard cars left these days. Damn, that would've saved me a tonne of effort!

I've been pining for one since my Honda days!
Love your S15 btw. Quote:
Spent my lunchbreak refitting the Meisters. Need to space the rears 10-15mm or so to get them sitting flush. Other than that, very happy.

Nice Kouki dude! Love the color. Add "Reconditioning front lip" to your to do list. A nice coat of flat black would do wonders. Also don't neglect all the rubber bushings on the undercarriage.

The fronts are rolled. No pull/flare whatsoever. (18x9 +14 225/40)

No problem.
If you don't want to modify the body at all (which I fully approve of), you can still get good looking wheels under there, but the lip on these things is pretty large so it'll never look super-flush.
