(on a 89-93 model) what does it entail? if not is there a model that doesnt have them? thanx so much <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

as far as I know all 89-93's (aka s13) have the automatic seatbelt. You have two options that I know of but don't really have any detail on them.
1.) you can swap in the seatbelts from a 95-98 model (aka s14) from a totaled 240 in a junkyard or something 2.) you can buy a 4 point harness. I don't know where to get these cheap or how to put them in, but its an option. |

Don't use a harness unless you have a roll-cage! ...that is, if you like your head.</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>why's that? |

That's because on a 4-point seat belt harness...it keeps everything from flying forward....BUT YOUR HEAD! </td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'> No, I highly doubt a collision will cause enough force to snap you head off...although a HAN restraint couldn't hurt. The reason, is if you flip the car, it's almost instant decapitation because the roof will collapse but you, being strapped upright in the seat, won't. A regular seatbelt will allow you the chance to duck or lay down...or at least get pushed down and not crushed down. |
