i have an 89 nissan 240sx ka24de im having problems with my brake lights they dont come on when the brake pedal is pressed but my tail lights work perfectly fine can anybody help me to figure out why the brake lights dont work please help???

Did you check your fuse?

So you're saying the brake lights are functional but they don't come on when you engage the brake pedal? Crawl underneath the dash and see if the pedal is depressing a switch. The arm for the brake pedal needs to come in contact with that switch. By engaging the brake pedal the switch is then released and closes the circuit, thus illuminating the brake lights.
