Got some sad news, looks like my project is done for a while until I can find another 240. I was visiting my friend that I bought my car off of up at Toledo University Friday and spent the night up there. I woke up to get my phone out of the car and it's just gone. So I called the cops off joes phone, they still haven't found it I don't think they will it's probably parted out by now. The f***ing fantastic thing is not only is my car gone but so is my phone and my wallet with my entire paycheck in it.

Lost all my pics I had of the car I had on my phone, all I have is a description, and there's like 25,000 red 240 hatch's with battles. Basically in the same boat as the police looking for a turd in the septic tank

Cops still haven't found anything, I've kind of lost hope that they will. If anybody has a cheap rolling s13 hatch or s14 ($1000 max) in the Ohio area please let me know I really want to continue my build. Thanks for the support guys

Small update, this doesn't even pertain to 240's but since my car is gone I've been trying to do some stuff to get my mind off of it. We got the new Hemi in the tractor, and then I picked up another motor at my cousins house. The plan is to either find a decent s13 hatch/kouki s14 or turn my dads 73 duster into a turbo pro street/promod car or build both cars if I save a little money, my insurance company said they would only give me $900 for the car and not pay for my phone or $500 in the car

Fight the insurance company. Give them real market values for your car. If you had insurance on your phone, that's a pretty easy fix.

Put the 440 in the duster! Much better mopar on mopar. Thats what i'd do. I saw a 240 on eBay with a 440 in it i think it still might be up. A 351 would be cool in a 240 but you could get a fox body shell for like $1000. Drift the 240 and drag the 5.0

You said you had a paycheck in your car when it was stolen... just go to your employer and tell them the situation, they will cut you another check I'm sure. Also, yeah, fight your insurance company, I have a hard time even finding a half decent 240 in my area for under $2k.
