APEXi Review
Hey I'm thinking about picking up the apexi n1 evolution catback and n1 evolution street coilovers for my stock s14. Anyone here have anything they can chime in with about them? Or even the exv coilovers for that matter. Any information, positive or negative, would be helpful. Thanks

they are a good company...although ive heard the apexi coilovers are made in the same factory as the megan racing so it is "said" that they are the exact same.

Back on topic, Apex'i is a very good company. Historically, their forte is electronics and turbo tuning. If you are wondering about their suspension, the EXV line-up is suitable for most street drivers/enthusiasts. However, the PRO line-up is where its at. The PRO comes with an upgraded fluid in the dampers that provides more linear and consistent dampening. This is crucial if you will be tracking the vehicle pretty often.

Exactly what I was going to say. Apex's coilovers are nice indeed. IMO kind of expensive, but hey thats coilovers for ya. I personally have never owned a set, but 2 of my buddies have the EXV's(one on an S13 and the other on an 04 STi) Both ride and handle amazing. |

I have the apexi N1 evolution Drift on my s13, and comparing them side by side to the exv's you will see the quality differences between the exv and the N1 evolution street and well, you'll go with the evolution street. hands down, you get what you payfor when it comes to shelling out the extra dough for their top line products. i am happy with it.

oh and, according to apexi, their exv's and the megan are assembled at the same place however, apexi's exv valving is different from megans. the N1 Evolution pro stuff is made in japan by apexi,
to compare the two is like comparing a geo metro to a rolls royce |
