SAFC not working below 3400rpms
So I've got a basic kae-t setup with 550's and an safc II. Car runs great overall, but under 3400 rpms the wideband seems to just bounce around and there is no adjustment using the safc. Over 3400 rpms and up in any gear it stays solid on 13.6ish(obviously lower when boosting) and I can adjust my settings accordingly.
My NE points are 800 1600 2200 2800 3400 3800 etc. What would be causing this and what needs to be done to fix it?

Yup, Aeromotive. Along with a walbro. Pretty much everything is accounted for, just trying to figure this out. The car runs great, I'm just curious to why I have no correction below 3400rpms.

Sounds like the ECU is operating in closed loop and "correcting" the SAFC adjustments you're trying to make.
Here's a good post about it: http://www.turbo240.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18 |
