Difference between S14 and S13 Intake Manifolds

I am trying to do a sohc to s14 dohc swap, I was wondering if there is anyway that I can use the manifold I have from the s14 KA? If i just switch the throttle body with that of an s13 and remove all the unnecessary vaccuum hoses it looks like it will work to me. But I really don't know much about what all this stuff does, can you guys help please?

SOHC manifold won't even come close to fitting a DOHC head. Go look at the two before making assumptions.

It is easier to use a S13 intake mani on an S14 engine when putting it into an S13. Especially if the S14 is OBD2. I have an extra S13 intake mani if you need one.

Ok sorry I guess I need to clarify some more, I am aware that it is easier to use an obd1 intake manifold, but i have an obd2 intake manifold and i do not want to pay for a new one if i can just use this one. I removed all the unnecessary elements of the manifold(extra vaccuum lines, egr valve) can anyone give me any reason why this manifold will not work on my car? And if the car would run i would try it out, but that is a couple days away.

Any DOHC manifold will work on any DOHC motor, you'll just have extra tabs or vacuum ports. Swap the CTS and TPS and you're done.
