sorry for the shitty quality, cell phone pic. the light is pretty even all across the cluster.

if anyone is local(socal/909 area) and wants free 5wide LED 194 bulbs..come get them. i have 5 plus 2 74x wide led for like the gas/temp part of the cluster. all "red" color.

Those Sylvania's look great dude. I have LED's right now and hate the hotspots, time to hit autozone lol. It's the best colour for driving at night and easy on the eyes.

no hotspots like with LED shit. i used the 5wedge LEDs for 1min and took them out because of hotspots(unless you do that shit right like mike from clear corners). put in the Sylvania and 10x better, BWM-esque.
hehe i cant believe people still remember my old lighting setup, i ran LEDs back when my car ran. my setup was perfect...

personally, like the above said, keep it bulb if you want it simple and good. going led took me a LOT of work.

Got mine completed today. Yes, it has "hot spots" but since I didn't have working lights before, I'll take them. Even got the radio lighting working correctly. Now it may have to go white in the future.

Yeah that looks boss! Bright as fuck. Is that on the highest dimmer position? The dimmer still works correct?

Yeah it looks nice but I was just thinking it might be a distraction at night. But if the dimmer works you could just tone the brightness down. Either way, I know what I'm buying payday! Thanks for the pictures and link. Props to you sir...

So I swapped my cluster lights with no prob. I tried to swap the clock light and it doesn't work now, I pulled the led and put it back in 180* and still no dice. Put the factory bulb in and still didnt work. I'm guessing maybe my socket is bad even tho the light worked before I swapped it. The socket is discolored and the old bulb was pretty tight in there. Anyone else run into this problem?

I ran into the exact same problem. I got it working with a LED for a while but it stopped working and I tried the original bulb and it still doesnt work.
Here's what mine looks like with 5 SMD T10 bulbs from ebay.

Anybody have a good picture of a s14 cluster with GREEN LED's in it? I like the white but I'm curious what green would look like. Either way green or white will match the gauges I plan to buy.

i have green in mine (Sorry no pics) i like them, turns the gauge needles green also. Only complaint i have is that around dusk, because backlight and needles are green its kinda hard to read the speedo. No biggie, did my HVAC too.

cool blue leds in gauge cluster and option k's gauges. debating on whether to go amber to match my aftermarket gauges though. sorry steering wheel was in the way blocking the gas gauge lol and the boost controller is blocking the clock
