This movie has to break some records, I mean sold out through the weekend!!! I had to go to 4 theatres andstill get a 1am showing and wait in line. They added the showing later. The movie was so sickk. Nolan handled the Batman and Joker dynamic to a tee. Ledger made Jack-o's version look as campy as the old Batman. DAMN. And I loved Nicholson's version. I have to go see it in Imax now. I agree on Gylenhall's part. She was good, but not much to the scenes, she was not the hottest gal. But Holmes was nothing spectacular either. And yet she looked amazingly hot on Letterman. I think Kat Beckinsale or Rachel Weisz would have fit the role much better. I don't think that spoiled it for anyone. SWEEEETTTTTT
I'm just still giddy about this movie. All the casting was PERFECT!!!

saw it again on standard 35mm, and while it was still rad as shit... pay a little more and see the IMAX. the detail is just incredible, 35mm doesn't really do this movie justice.
i saw this movie twice today, and i might see it tomorrow before NASCAR woo woo

What movie was so bad ass! Yes I will be watching it again. And I had to miss johnnys party for this! So worth it. And yes Gylenhall's role shouldve been with another actor but its okay cuz im waiting on who will be the next cat woman and Poison Ivy! God this movie makes me so giddy. Sorry everyone. Ledgers role was insane. So sadistic of a joker.
Now I want to know who will play the other bad guys. Lets recap all the old batman movies Joker - Jack Nicholas Riddler - Jim Carrey Iceman - Arnold S. Penguin - Dannie Davito? Poison Ivy - Uma Thurman not sure who else

Well, what can't be said about this movie. I'm going to keep it simple, it was great, I think every actor did a great job, I love how detailed it was compared to batman begins, I was pretty much in awe and I got goose bumps.
Everyone should go see it, srsly. |

FAWKING EPIC BEYOND BELIEF
damn.... where do i start? i've ALWAYS loved Goyer's work. ever since the first Blade film. even though Blade Trinity took a little heat from the critics (i thought it was great)...... Goyer ROCKS. plain and simple. Nolan ROCKS..... HARD..... PERIOD. both of them together? OMGWTFBBQSAUCEFTMFW. from the moment they announced Joker as one of the villans for the sequel, i wondered.... who will they cast? NO bs, i thought to myself... wouldnt it be crazy if they cast Ledger? i mean look at him when he smiles. big grin from ear to ear. yeah. he could pull it off. the role was perfect. everything was perfect. the things he said. the jokes. how crazy/insane he was. the little movements/twitches. the walk. i can go on and on. i'm really sad that Ledger passed away. RIP. i'll be seeing this at least 2 more times. YES. NOMNOMNOMNOMNOM. Nolan said that 3 would focus more on Two Face actually hunting down the Joker for revenge..... and gunning down anyone that gets in his way. obviously thats going to change now. we'll have to wait and see what they come up with. but i'm positive Nolan and Goyer wont let us down. |

ok SO ENOUGH WITH THAT SO I WENT TO SEE A 1:25AM SCREENING OF THE BATMAN MOVIE IN IMAX and i must say i real thought it was a good movie BUT NOT A GREAT ONE. Everyone say oh Heath did a great job as the joker and this is true but i was expecting to see more of him in the movie. But just seeing how crazy and nutty he was i understand now why it was hard of Heath but all and all the castign was great and the whole story was good too. I myself really enjoyed two face in my opinion i think Harvy Dent was teh one who stoled the movie they focus more around him and around him as the new D.A. and his love life, i really belive the reason ever say heath did a great job is beacuse he past away if he never die this movie wouldnt have been so hype up if. But like i said this is just my opinion |

All condolences and pity for Ledger's death aside, his take on the role of Joker was so perfect, it gave me the chills on how accurate he was able to personify anything and everything the Joker was. Ledger really went out with a bang and I loved every minute of his final performance. The next Batman movie that will feature the Joker, who ever will play the part will be studying tapes of Heath's performance more than Jack's. Jack's performance was still good, but it was just not as creepy and demented as Heath's.
All accolades aside, I thought the movie kicked ass. Sure it was long as fuck, but I didn't want it to end either! A in my book. Could've gotten an A+, but Gylenhall is just not hot to me.
