"Lowrider Problems"

I was bored at work and just happened to come upon this video. The guy did not seem to take his time or care much about his bumpers

Having a "lowered" car takes time and skills to drive on the streets, especially in CA, but I am sure majority of the people on here will tell you; "Raise the car..."

IMO, I would have not driven my car up due to the space/angle of the driveway. Probably the best decision would be remove the front bumper and drive straight up.

That's Matt aka Street Faction driving his GF Thao's car. The bumpers were all held by zipties which is why that happened. And it's held by zipties for that reason!
That was trying to drive into wekfest.

There is a point where lowering a car makes it look worse, not better. That car is about 1/2" PAST that point. It's fucking stupid and I SERIOUSLY wish dude would have gotten high-centered. I'm not as much of a "purist" as I used to be, but I still have my limits...

he should invest in the bolts that are on the side that makes it easy to take off in a few seconds. can't remember what they are called

^^ that's what I was going to suggest. They are like quick releases for bumpers. Or he could go to Home Depot and get some latches they use for cabinets lol

I wonder if she was pissed that he busted the kit and made the car look bad for the whole world lol.

Bodykit is like an artificial low, remove the kit and its not "That low".. but it impresses the Hoonigan crowd on the net. Raise it some so you can have the best of both worlds, driveability and fashion lol

That's not a damn lowrider . That word is being used way too loosely. I came on here expecting to read a thread about Impala's, Regal's, Oldsmobile's, Riviera's, Monte Carlo's, El Camino's, Cadillac's, Fleetline's, hell even Schwinn bicycles. After reading the first two posts I was about to comment about when I had 14s on my Oldsmobile and easily skid on wet roads, and thought about hydraulics as a solution to the driveway comment from the second post, then i opened the link up That car on the video is just an aggressively slammed ricer. Hell if we're going to be calling everything a "lowrider" now-a-days....

Agreed. When I think stanced, I think Hellaflush. Not the term, but the actual cars that Illest produces. Their cars, like Rauh Welt, retain their functionality despite setting the standard for low.
