550cc injectors

i was planning on ordering either tomei or apexi 550 cc injectors, a local shop "highly suggested" a power fc, but i dont have the cash to drop on a pfc, can i use my safc to tune these injectors?

Yes, you can.

BTW, how come your S15 turbo runs 9 psi? The internal wastegate is set at 11psi... I'm running 11psi on "stock" boost setting with the S15 Turbo on a blacktop SR20DET.

thanks for the response, i'm only running 9psi because when i got it tuned the stock injectors couldnt hold more then that

I can't go lower than 11psi with my S15 Turbo because the internal wastegate is set at that amount... Did you change the wastegate?

Stock setting for s15 is 9psi I believe. Check to see if you actuator arm is threaded. If so, the person that had the turbo before you might have set it differently.

i'm ordering a hks actuator with my injectors so i'm not sure what the setting is on the stock internal

Thanks! I'll look at it... however, I was frequently told that the stock S15 boost was 11 psi, while S14 was about 9 psi...

You might be right... Anyways, I'll do some lookin' up.

(I do know though that my car's stock boost setting is 0.78 bar... On a S15 turbo)
