s14 96 s14 ka24de bad ecu or electrical problem? Please help!

Hey all, new to the forum and new to 240's for the most part.

Bought a 96 s14 zenki. 5 speed manual swap, 142k on motor. Speedometer is off, doesn't bother me too much. Dc sport headers, no name exhaust, fortune auto coilovers with adjustable control arms and tie rod ends I believe. 300zx big breaks, m35 18 x 9" wheels. I've owned it for about a week, drove fine other than some smoke at cold start and after sitting for a while. Replaced the valve cover gasket, oil change, coolant flush, spark plugs, and the smoke toned down a lot. Just a little here and there.

I own an 89 s13 hatch all stock with 80k original miles on it. I baby this thing and wanted an s14 to have some fun in. So I did what most people would do, take it to a parking lot and have a little fun!

The car stops running mid drift, so I get out and take a look. The driver side tire had rubbed through my wiring harness and cut the sheathing off of some wires. I take off the wheel, no wires were cut, just the sheathing. So I electrical tape them, check all fuses. Only one headlight and the ac blower fuse was blown. Replace them, and try to start the car again. Still just cranks and doesn't even try to turn over. So I tow it home! I check all of the wires again, all are good! Same with all fuses. I take off spark plug boots, no spark. Replace rotor and clean the cap, still no spark. Get noid lights to check for injector pulse, nothing! My distributor turns, so it has power. My injectors have power. I start checking volts to the pins on the dizzy. Pin #5 which is supposed to have constant 12v (?) only has 7.8v.

Where do I go next? Ecu? Dizzy? Crank angle position sensor bad? I'd appreciate any help I can get. Like I said, kind of new to 240's, and have never dealt with car electronics before. I am a 20 year old electrician, almost 3 years experience in residential so I have a decent idea, but I'm not a mechanic nor do I pretend to be one. I enjoy working on cars and I am a diy guy.

Got her running! Found a bad relay (ignition relay) that was ticking when the ignition was turned on. Also the car would not start if the firing order was in the what I thought was the right spot. 1-3-4-2 is the firing order, but when I got the car the #1 was on the top left, and #3 was bottom left. Dizzy spins counter clockwise. Well now it only starts and runs if the #1 is on the top right, and 3 on the top left! It runs great but sometimes at wide open throttle it stutters like its getting a fuel cut! I'm going to get a timing light and see if the dizzy and tdc are in sync.
