Haltech Software Update

If you have an E8 or E11v2 this update is for you.

Version 1.89 is released ready for public use.

This update fixes wideband readout to have the option to view as af/r again and not just lambda.

Boost mapping control is greatly increased, fixing allot of the bugs that had existed in 1.6x and 1.7x.

Auto Tune is also VERY good on the new software, as is closed feedback.

To get the updates visit these links:

HalwinX 1.89 (windows xp) https://secure.haltech.com/halwin/

You will also find firmware downloads that need to be installed prior to using 1.89.

Follow this procedure to update your firmware, so that you do NOT erase your existing maps.

Map legacy support is active on the 1.89 update, but I strongly suggest saving backups of 1.6x and 1.7x maps just in case you ever want to rollback your driver.

Procudure for updating firmware:

1. Save a copy of your current map with your current software
2. Install the new Halwin 1.89 Software
3. Upgrade the firmware in the ECU (follow all warnings regarding firmware upgrade!)
4. Upload the new default base map found at: C:\Program Files\haltech\HalwinV1.89\default.map (use “default_e8.map” for E8 ECU’s).
5. Upload your original map

If you have any questions feel free to email me: [email protected]

If you HAVEN'T made the change to haltech, what are you waiting for? The most competitive EMS on the market, best control and the top competitors are taking notice as more and more in the drift scene are equipping their high output high competitive vehicles with the system.

RPSport is a full support haltech dealer, not only offering ems, but a full catalog of accessories and the in depth technical support specifically on the nissan platforms that real race teams require. We offer customized base maps for all of our customers.

Make the Jump to check out the systems! RPSport: Haltech, PWR, SR20DET, Turbo, Engine Management, Drifting

Thanks!

John
