Check your ecu for codes!
Unless it's normal for the check engine light to be on while the engine is running!!!!!

Check the codes and go from there, but off the top of my head, like stated before
-tps
-iacv
and I would check the MAF if its plugged in all the way. Pull it out and check to see if the male pins are straight and not bent. Check vacuum lines also, just my $0.02, good luck

ok update on what i did
i pulled my intake and t/b off and cleaned it all plus pulled egr valve and pipe off and cleaned too. and then used seafoam on oil, gas, and intake system to help clean all the carbon out.
then this happened...
http://youtu.be/N1o35WPj3RU

found the problem to be the egr gasket was leaking air so i replaced it and now motor seems to b running fine.
but my idle is staying bout 1100rpms....

but after i did all that i went to smog the car and it failed 2times and the second time was worse fail than the 1st plus my check engine light came on during the 2nd smog and im throwing up error codes (12 and 32)....

can some1 help or give advice on what i could do?

im running all stock 91 ka24de motor with 5speed tranny..

error code 12 = Air flow meter circuit

error code 32 =

California models only.

so have you tried swapping your mafs with a known good one and addressing the egr function problem?

not rocket science, but you do have to fix the codes before it'll work right
