what rpm to launch at?
im going to the track this saturday i need to know what rpm i should launch my car at? I got a redtop sr20det w/ upgraded T28 turbo, GP Sports Spec R exahust w/3"piping no cat,Blitz dp greddy hot pipe, Greddy Type-S bov, and Greddy FMIC and i got 17" Nismo LMGT4's wrapped in yokohama parada spec 2 tires. I will be boosting at 10psi. How fast do you guys will think my car will do?

eh.... drag racing.... hmm i predict a low 13 maybe.. prove me wrong, but i think u need to bump up the psi... any lsd? some people like to launch hard like around 4500, me myself i like the rolling start method.. u get about a foot after the last yellow so...

buy a bottom mount mani, and buy a flange.. have a shop cut and reweld.. somethings might be a little off but.. might need some re-adjusting..to make it work... or better yet search.............

btw, i havent ran my Sr on the strip yet, but launching a ka right at about 3500 is about right. with proper burn out of corse. i ran 15.7-8 consistantly after like 5-6 bad runs. just takes practise. u should launch at about 3200-3500k. but thats my opinion. anything higher u gonna spin out

looking like a moron is doing a smokey burn out to show off.. or not even lining up right... highly doubt the dude would spin out of control.. 3500 is ok, but if your gonna dump it... kinda wanna go higher... iono car condtion, driver skill, pavement all plays a factor.. but blah.. just do a rolling start.. works well and u wont break shit..
