mazworx block breather plug
I just finished assembly on my block and then the machine shop told me they forgot to put a part back in my block. It's the rear crankcase vent tube. FML. There's no way to get that back into the block without removing the head again.
mazworx sells a block off plug for it. I asked them how it worked and they said as long as you have good ventilation, it's fine to run. Has anyone ran one of these plugs or have any suggestion for me? |

So why doesn't the machine shop pay for new head studs and head gasket and fix their own mistake? Do it right the first time. If it's their fault they should fix it.

I know they're not gonna do it. And it's their fault they didn't put it back on but I should have noticed it before assembly too. |

I let it sit for a couple of days. I'm gonna go give it a little wiggle in a few minutes. I think it's good. I need it to be otherwise I'm gonna be tapping it. I do not want to take the head off again.

You don't need to remove the head
Just tap the OEM fitting back into place, even with a smidge of sillicone to keep it 'secure'
