Disco potato help!
so I bought and sr20 s13 with a upgraded turbo (Disco potato). the problem i have is the hot pipe is thrown together by like 10 different silicone hoses. since the turbo is pointing downward this leaves me confused on what hot pipe to get? i want to put something together better then the one on there now and i also need a BOV. so if theres one flanged for a BOV it would be perfect to save the extra work of doing it myself. if there is one made just for this turbo? or if i should get it custom made? also i see that HKS has a hotpipe made for i guess the stock turbo thats flanged for the SSQV. could i maybe buy that and just cut it up to fit and use the silicone hoses to reroute it? or would that be a waste?
sorry if the questions dumb but some pictures of your engine bay with this setup would help me see what is easier. also a good intake that would work well. since that to on the car is thrown together. thanks |

check the engine bay thread. Also if you look at an engine bay with a 2871r turbo, the routing will basically be same for the gt28rs. You need to clock the turbo and then run a 90 degree coupler off the compressor outlet and into any stock hotpipe should work.
