I must be missing the point, but what are the real advantages over zipties? Zipties never fail me.

it can get real old real quick cutting zipties off if, lets say you have massive incline for a driveway like i have before. i suppose it could put a dent in the average joes pocket too, i mean hey, some people live for the dollar menu, haha

Not a bad idea. I've been trying to come up with a good way of removing my bumper quickly for loading on a trailer or jacking up from the front. I don't think I'll use the toolbox latches though. I'd probably rather use the 1/4 turn locking fasteners.

i still think ziptieds are better! easy to buy, easy to put on and it wont rip your bumper when u hit a cone...but the only bad thing is..if your bumper hit a cone itll look ugly...just look at my signature...

Someone should come up with a magnetic latch design. You would put magnets on your fender where the bolts would go and magnets on your bumper. The magnets would become electronically magnetized when you press a button, wireless, of course. Thus you can just hold up your bumper to the desired location, press the button, and boom, your bumper is attached.

Maybe after that would be magnetic lug nuts?

Yeah, I actually just ordered a pair of dzus latches for my front bumper. My car is not too terribly low but I do take off my bumper frequently. And putting zip ties on and cutting them off is kind of a pain after a while. With these latches it will make taking the bumper on and off extremely easy and fast. And hey, while this may sound like something a super cheap ass person would say, eventually you will save money on zip ties, haha.

Are all of you really that lazy to where you can't spend five minutes to ziptied your whole car?

Using zipties is the easiest and cheapest way to attach body parts.

Why go through the hassle of yanking a bumper off when you want to jack your car up? that's dumb.

Two pieces of wood or whatever you choose roll up on it and you're done.

Don't be cheap dumb and lazy.

funny, I was thinking it would be easier to pop 4 or 6 clips/latches and take the bumper off.

But it would be easiest to press a button and have magic hold your bumper on.

Cheap as in lazy and making your car not look to it's fullest.

Better yet, just run with no bumper!

Ugh. Using zipties will allow it to look like it fits if you have half a brain and also allows said body part to eject in case of an accident or hitting something.

If you had half an ability to drive you wouldn't hit things. When are zip ties not the answer? Some people don't want their car sewn together with zip ties. Some people don't want their car to have stretched tires. Some people don't want their car to have sleepy eyes. I really don't see an agreement happening.

So what happens when your bumper hits the ground? What happens when you dirt drop?

I'm talking about things that happen at the track every time. Lord forbid you accidentally go off track. Which EVERYONE does.
