Question coolant/water flow through turbo - need confirmation

so i just installed the gt3071r, and after doing some research i need to confirm that it doesn't matter which way coolant flows thought the center cartridge. meaning, either port could be used as an inlet, or outlet for the coolant.

just want to triple check it, before i really get on it

Nope it dosen't matter at all I ve had mine both ways and it's never made a differecnce. If you had an oil cooler you dont even need to run water lines. IMO

sounds good, thanks!

also,

is it normal for the turbo to making a distinct sound at idle? hard to describe, but its almost sounds like a constant ringing... am i just paranoid?

all the lines are properly hooked up - oil, and now confirmed, water.

It will (sounds like diesel) if your not running an exhaust, or if your running a straight through exhaust

The compressor at idle will sound kind of like a ringing sound. Rev it up and it'll change pitch as it spools.
