s13 sr20 problem

I just finished swapping my s13 and it starts up fine and idels fine and runs fine until it sees boost. Not really sure what is goin on. Someone told me that the 255 lph fuel pump could possibly be over running the fuel pressure regulator but almost anyone who does this swap uses the same fuel pump and doesnt have a problem, but it does seem like it just starts over loading with fuel once it starts building boost. Any thoughts of what my problem could be.

My car ran similiar to this and it ended up being a bad boost leak. So i would check that first.

Thanks for the inputs guys. I have checked all that, tps, grounds, maf, and boost leaks, thats all good. I checked the fuel pressure today and the gauge was reading 75-80 psi at idle. I know its suppose to be around 36, so i borrowed a friends ajustable nismo reg. and when i tried ajusting it, the pressure on the guage stayed the same no matter which way i turned it, but when i turned it all the way down the car just bogged down and shut off but the guage was still reading around 70psi, so im thinkin maybe the fuel pressure tester i was using has a bad guage, i mean it is just a cheap one from pep boys, but im still not sure what would be causing it to do this if that guage is right.
