i'm getting ready to take my car to a bodyshop to get my body kit installed and my car painted. i'm thinking of painting the black moldings are the winshield and mirrors the same color as the car. how many are for or against it?

This can really depend on what body kit you are using. Does it cover some of the black lower trim?? All of it?? If it doesn't cover much of the black trim then leave it black, it will leave the car with a little more sleeper appeal. You know, the more stock look. If it covers all the lower black trim, paint all of it and you will be suprised how many stupid kids fall in love with your "custom paint job."
Personally I would not paint any of the plastic peices. Cheap paint will crack and look very very bad. Just leave the black bits black. You could paint your whole car black, just a thought.

Definitely leave the trim around the windshield black. It would not look good painted the same color as the car. I think the trim pieces around the mirrors also should stay black.
