trying to decide which motor to go with... shooting for 650 whp with a big single on an AEM standalone. GE motor is $1000 less than an aristo GTE... is it worth getting the GTE or just stick to a NA-T style swap? My main concerns are intake manifold and ignition system... stock fuel will have to be upgraded either way.

I tried searching NA-T forums and such, but most of their responces are from people with the NA already who are only shooing at stock power levels ~450-500whp.

probably not worth the troubles to go with a GE over the GTE anyways when starting from scratch... i want this thing running and seems like a quality intake manifold for the GE is around $500 anyways so i'm back at square 1 and then have to upgrade the ignition system anyways..

Awesome. Seemed to spool very quickly also. I think this is the turbo I'd like to end up with. I ended up with a 6265 .86 to start with...

It will work however it will have to be looped around in an ugly way to make it fit.

What kinda pump? I'm still trying to decide what I'm going to do. I want to re-use what I have. (Bosch 044, -8 feed, -6 return) Probably end up getting a 2nd 044, then either run another -8 up to a dual rail, or Y both pumps to single line. My cell has 2 outputs on the sump, so I can hook another pump up easily on the intake side. I know people still debate on single vs. dual feed rails.

I had 2 044's but never installed them because of the size of the pumps and the terrible fuel tank config of our chassis. I would have loved to use them but it was looking more and more like the 044 use would have required me to run them off a surge tank and not twin in-tank. I have a friend who has them running twin in tank but he hasn't really tested the car out under spirited driving, only dyno use. I do love the 044's and think they are the best pump for the price.

Right now I have Ben Freeds old setup which is twin Aeromtive 340s in tank. This setup should be more than enough for my 700rwhp goal. Freed pushed this setup into the high 9s without any issues.

Dual feed rails have proven to work so I wouldn't think too much into it. There is a few local guys with 1000rwhp+ setups using a dual feed rails.

@Deftec.....very nice work. How do you like the turbo? I have the same with 1.0 ar and QSV. Any more info on your setup.

Thats a VSV pressure tank, if you're single turbo it can be removed.

Thanks for the info. I already have a set of ID1000 injectors, I need to go get their measurements, then look for a rail. (they were mounted in a Supra, but never used)

I think I'm just going to run another -8 to a dual rail. I've already got one line run, and I'm pretty sure I have some -8 in the garage. I can always get fittings to work with a -6 rail...
