RimPac 2012 Party and Maui wedding

Recent shoot for one of the best traditional Italian restaurants in Milwaukee. Definitely getting better and better with styling and what not as well. Of course this was a 8 hour shoot for 6 dishes so I had the time. This shoot was an add on for a new website we're working on as well.

Also, got the new 6D. It's pretty awesome so far. I LOVE the wireless feature,, shooting from my phone and uploading pics to facebook from a set. Pretty dope. The GPS is pretty much useless to me really. The button layout on the back si fucking me up pretty bad right now though. Feel handicap. It'll get better quick though.

Just found out an ad campaign I co-shot for University Wisconsin Green Bay won “Best of Show” in Higher Education Marketing Report’s Annual Educational Advertising Awards.

Pretty pumped. This is the first ad campaign I worked to win an award.

I shot a lot of the stills and assisted with the timelapses and portraits.

Watch it in 720.

I have an old Minolta XG-1, but I have yet to develop a roll of film yet, lol.

I had a flash, but I hate the way all the shots turned out. I think I will forever prefer natural light for portraits. I also decided on washing everything out right off the bat. It just felt right.

Got a chance to attend my first NHRA race this past weekend, gotta say, I've been missing out! The Top Fuel Dragsters going 4 wide, 320 mph in the 1/4 mile will seriously blur your vision, no lie. All I was able to get some pics of were the funny cars and a few pro stock.

This is one of the new COPO Camaros. YES Chevy still makes these! But they are basically track only cars that come with roll cages, 4 link rear ends, and no creature comforts at all. They are basically $83k dragsters that Chevy offers.

i do everything from rebuild polaroids to medium format, to consistently shooting film still.
