Passenger side mirror missing

I have a 1989 240SX- 55,000 miles

The passenger side mirror is missing. It fell off when the previous owner had it.

I looked and see IN1323109. It says this is convex without backing plate.
When I look on the car, I see the mounting surface is flat.

Is the passenger side normally convex or flat? I can't seem to find a passenger side mirror that is flat.

When the seller says it is convex without backing plate, does that mean I can't affix it to the flat surface on the car? and I need to find a way to fill in the curved part so it will fit on the flat mounting surface?

passengers side should be flat. why not just buy another passengers side mirror? like the whole assembly, not just the glass.

My son and I actually bought this to flip it. the previous owner said there were several problems and we are trying to fix it up without spending too much on it.

1) prev owner said there was brake problems. Turned out to be air in the master cylinder.
2) headlight wont move up and down. We disconnected it and put a battery on the motor that moves the headlight up and down. Motor works, so there must be a relay or switch problem somewhere else.
3) mirror is just $19 no need to spend $50 on the whole thing
4) etc...
