sr20 pump gas pedal to start

Hey yall i searched and nothin really whats happenin to me. I got a redtop sr and the problem i know of right now is my intake mani has a small crack on the middle of the flange that connects to the head. That resulted in a blown gasket also my iacv had a ripped gasket i fixed with some gasket maker though when i was threading on the screw the back piece of the flange broke off....while hand tightening lol. I got a new intake mani on the way so not a problem. I may be answering my own question but anyone had something like this happen? it only starts when u pump the gas pedal then once it warms up it drives fine. any input

Check start signal fuse in fuse box in the car. Also check the orange wire i think going to the ecu. If the fuse is bad or a short in that wire it will be hard to start but run fine after. Had similar problem on my blacktop s13.
