s13 sr20det build questions

Hey zilvians,

I'm researching what I'm gonna need financially to starr my sr build and wanted to get some info on what I should be expecting to spend. Hers what I want:

Sr notchtop five speed, four inch piping frontmount, built head, tuned ecu, 555 injectors, s15 t28, koyo rad.

Pretty much 400 reliable power to the wheels

Any info will help.

Thanks sexys!

that setup will get you 320 MAX.
1) small ass turbo
2) 555cc injectors are good to 350whp i believe

get bigger injectors and a bigger turbo (2871R)

Shit, this is a dumb generic ass question. There's so much different ways of getting there and too many variables to pull a magical number out of somebody's ass. Are you doing the work or you having a shop do it? Considering you have absolutely no fucking clue since you made a thread like this, go to a shop and have them give you a damn estimate. For as much shit you want, it aint gonna be cheap...Id throw in some $12k to do it all in one fell swoop.

Or, you could buy my car

http://zilvia.net/f/cars-sale/427482...t-sr20det.html

Fully Built Sil80 with Forged Fully Built SR20 with 1500 miles on it.

Which has everything you're looking for, and an engine capable of making 500 HP safely(results may vary), and pay half of the price.

I will give you a breakdown of basically what it cost me:
Bought the fully built shortblock, rods, pistons etc for 1200.
Found out that the machine shop that the guy I bought it from was shit, and had no clue what they were doing.
Built Short Block: 1200 (Mahle Forged Pistons, Eagle Rods, ACL bearings)
Rebore/Hone/blueprint: 150
Piston Rings 80
Correct Size ACL Bearings: 115
Oil Pump: 150
Block Decked with Oil Pump: 75
Micropolish Crank: 35
Shortblock Assembly: 300
Total: 2105

I also bought a semi-built head: for 300, Which was a steal and had:
BC Ti Springs
BC Ti Retainers
Supertech valve stem seals
Recondition(Port polish etc/ install Supertech valve stem seals etc: 280
ARP Headstuds: 130
Cosworth Headgasket 150
New S14 Waterpump: 50
Timing chain kit: 175
Total engine assembly: 250

Total 1635

ACT Sprung HD Clutch to hold power: 500
Flywhell Resurfacing: 35

550cc Injectors: 300
S15 turbo: 500?
Ecu Tune: 400
Turbo Lines/Reclocking adapters: 150
1200 for tune/injectors etc?

About 5000 bucks so far...

Kamina sam pm me bro we will talk. And for the others who have gave me good info pm me and we can talk. For the few that decideto be vulger and rude here is a reality check. This is a nissan forum not a honda page so get rid of the additude. I do have a vast knowelge base on nissans and know many of shop owners in the souther california area. I simply was seeking numbers so I could get an idea of what I would be spending on my build. That being said keep your negative comments to youself and get a life. Zilvia is intended to be a conglomeration of nissan fanatics who share knowledge and know how to others who seek that. Remember that shit talkers. Other than that have a good day. Thanks again to those who helped. Greatly appreciated.

+1, people have forgotten that.

You are supposed to search, as there are lots of answers on this site already but it in no way gives someone the right to be an asshole. Please search more because again there are lots of answers on this site. Here are a few places you might want to look at. They have a lot of information and other people's setups you can base yours off of and get ideas.

This. Nobody thinks your cool for being a Dick on the internet. You think people come to zilvia and support it to deal with rude jackasses?
It was a pretty broad question, you should have just asked me!
Craze is pretty good with 240s, you don't know him, so don't go assuming things.
And kamina!
His car is legit I've ridden in it, I want his type x valences!
Anyway, your looking at like 4-6k for clean good every day 400hp including the swap and all the stuff you should replace

Edit, Actually, the wing thats on your car right now came from kamina lol

Wah, wah...cry me a fucking river. If you've done any kind of research, you'd already know wont hit 400hp with a POS T28 turbo and a damn 550cc injector will max out by the time you hit 300hp. Vast knowledge my fucking ass!!! Instead of asking people to hold your hand and make decisions for you, why dont you read thru 3897389749873 SR build threads floating around here to get an idea on what YOU want to burn YOUR money on?

But you know what, I'll be fucking nice...you want 400hp, start with a damn turbo to get you there. You want response, run a GT2871R .86, should be enough to get you close enough to it. You want more power, up it up to a GT3071R with a decent top mount setup. Run some 740cc Nismo injectors or SARD 850s. Throw in a stand alone ECU setup (Power FC, AEM or go big boy with Haltech) and thats a good start...

I got $5 this shit will get locked soon...

i've got a better idea.

stock sr
200 shot of nos.

there. 300hp for cheap.

also, why are you asking these questions on an internet forum??? 4" intercooler piping?
if you know what parts you are looking for, why not contact the people who SELL those parts. check with FRsport, phase2, etc.

this is just ANOTHER thread that doesn't need to be here, you could easily have answered all your questions by doing your own research.

I like everyone being assholes, makes it fun to troll around. Nothing wrong with asking questions, but you gotta have thick skin on here. And +1 on research, I always search and dig before i ask a question. That or i use at least 8 big words in my thread so people think im smart. Good luck on your power goals!

Dude... while most of your stuff is true, please don't spew shit about 550s maxing out at 300hp.They have consistently been proven to be more than enough for up to atleast 350 horsepower.
