Sr20det head install

Hey I?m stalling my head with arp head studs but I?m struggling to get the front of the head around the fixed timing chain guide with the timing cover on. Should I pull the cover of then put it in with the head unbolted so o can lift it up and slide the cover on?

Dont install the studs.... tip the head sideways to pass around the timing chain guides. Once the head sits flat, then install the head studs.

Also dont forget to add small bead of silcone to the headgasket are that meets with the front cover and head area or it will seap oil

^^^ what he said, remove the studs put them in after you get the head on. I had to do the same thing a few weeks ago.
