1995 240sx wont start. Has spark and gas
I bought a 95 240sx last Saturday. It ran all day Saturday. Started it and shut it off probably 10 times, warm and cold. It has a bad IAC/AAC when I bought it. Sunday it sat in the garage and Monday I went to start it and it sounded like it was going to, but then just kept cranking. I could smell gas, in-fact all the plugs get wet. so I checked for spark and it has spark.
Today I took the IAC/AAC off and cleaned it out and put it back together and still the same thing. I read the codes from the ECU, and its throwing; 11. Camshaft Position Sensor 25. Idle Speed Controller 33. Front o2 34. Knock sensor 41. Intake temp sensor I printed the diagnostic sheets for each and will try them tomorrow. Im just looking for more direction. |

If the ECU gave u those error codes then do those first. Something as little as the temp sensor can stop it from starting if the ECU reads it as a problem. Replace or repair those all until you get all clear from the ECU

this happened to mine. the injectors were stuck open, and flooding itself out. pull the fuse for the fuel pump, start it, and just it is actually starting to kick over, put the fuse back in. or, pull fuse out, crank it to clear it all out, and return the fuse and hope it starts up. I had better luck with the first method.

This happened to me, When I took my intake pipe off I knocked a sensor loose. It was the coolant temp sensor. It made the car believe it was cold even when it was warm, so it continued to run rich and ended up flooding it.
