Nitrous does mess you up but, on the spectrum of drugs you could do. It has very few ill effects. The most notable one is a depletion of b vitamins. As long as you arent just taking like 5 minute stints off the bottle and freezing your lungs and depleting your brain of oxygen for extended periods you are pretty much in the clear.

Whatevskies though. It's waaay too damn expensive for a 20 second high and lugging a big gay bottle around.

You can get tanks of helium at party city. I think they're like $15 a tank. We did that at my sister's party and it was crazy! Had some fun with the helium afterwards, too.
