So I'm driving home and I notice on the oncoming traffic there is a semi hauling two (and only two) cars on the top rack. One with the back end facing and the other with the front end facing.

The shape of the car was instantly reconizgable from a distance and as the semi drove passed me I was able to confirm that the two cars were the Nissan Cube.

I must say the car has a funky look to it that will be a hit with the young crowd...I think more than the first gen xB.

I thought it was rather odd that only these cars were on the trailer rack and they weren't covered at all.

This semi was heading in the direction of a Nissan corporate building I know of, so that's my only thought to why it was at such a random location.

Does anyone know when this car is officially available here in the states?

To add on with random car spottings...

I saw a VW Scirocco one time during my lunch break (VW HQ is about 5 miles away). DAYUM that car looks nice and I wish I snagged a pic. I'm amazed that VW does not bring it over here...but then again it would kill GTI sales easy.

I think it is sooner than that.
it will get better gas mileage than the xb and has a nicer interior.
they sent me a brochure in the mail last month, greatest thing. brand new price is like 9-10 k.
they are going to kill the scion movement. ( I hope)

Can't decide if I like it or not. The rims are a definite no. Does the ceiling really look like that? It's definitely unique looking, with the way the window looks in the back, thats kinda cool. Bet it gets kick ass sound from the audio.

at first i thought it was a cube commercial cause that shit had nothing to do with soda...

but if it is priced as said, this is a smart move by Nissan to secure younger drivers and even get Scion drivers to make the switch...

Shit for 10k i'll take 2 one in black and one in white haha

The car is going to be a huge success for Nissan. It's picking up were the previous gen xB left off. Wait until the EV version comes out too. Unique styling and will hardly use gas.

As long as Nissan doesn't tread down Scion's path of "Factory Rice", then I'm all for the Cube. If for some stupid reason they decide to offer clear tail lights, neons, and such as factory options, then it's all over.

Somehow unless they are like lego side skirts it wont look that vip, the window shaping kills it for any classy, or professional style

There have been like three different cubes they have been using for the auto shows. I have seen white,brown and red. What coler were the ones on the truck.

i went to Buena Park Nissan 2 weeks ago and saw one... it was black color

onwer of dealer ship took it home for test drive.. or something...

they said prob in a month they will get first shipment
