4 lug brake upgrade

I have a 1990 240SX with an RB20DET that being said I am wanting to upgrade brakes while staying 4 lug, what is the best options for this using parts that can be found at parts stores, I have thought about using the ABS model brakes since they are .4" bigger than none ABS cars but is there a better option?

The best option is the search button
Plenty of adaptors for bigger calipers n redirlled rotors around
Here just need to find them

You can stay 4 lug and upgrade to the Z32 calipers running bigger BMC, New lines, and Redrilled rotors.

Q45, redrill the disks. Cheap and effective.

Z32 26mm Caliper with Altima 22mm Rotor. 4mm difference is small enough to be taken up by the pads/pistons. No re-drilling.

Or Maxima Calipers & Altima Rotors "the 180sx setup". No re-drilling.

Z32 will require conversion flex lines etc. No bracket.

180sx setup is 01 Altma SE-R Rotors & 89-99 Maxima Calipers.

Z32 brakes is bolt on and can drill the rotors for 4 lug easily in your garage.
Q45 is bolt on and can use S14 4-lug rotors.
Sentra SER Brembos are bolt on and 4 lug.

I have front z32s on my 4 lug, not quite sure on rotors. I will double check on that, I know they weren't drilled so its either stock s13 or s14 4-lug. my stock s13 brake lines work with them.

Stay with your stock BMC unless you want to change the feel of your brake pedal.

The stock s13 brake hoses do not work with z32 calipers. Neither do the stock rotors. You either have the appropriate lines and rotors or you don't have z32 calipers.
Many people feel the stock BMC with Z32 calipers results in a spongy brake pedal, some don't mind it.

I replaced my brake line with an s13 and it fit...I know for a fact I have z32 calipers. EDIT(Unless Q45s look identical to z32s, that I am not sure on)

Then your car probably has Q45 calipers, not Z32.

Nope, I checked last night and they are Z32's. 5280vertDET confirmed with pictures. Been almost 9 years since I've had to touch my brakes and after checking it over I have hardlines in the front lol.

Like pissing into the wind, It's all coming back to me lol. I had to order the s13 line so I just got a bend-to-spec hard line when my tension rod snapped 7ish years ago just to get home.

I stand corrected!

Q45 calipers w/ Fastbrakes 4 lug rotors...

It's been several years since I bought rotors from fastbrakes.com, but they use to sell a direct bolt-on 12" 4 lug rotor upgrade to go with the Q45 brake upgrades for s13s. Inquire about their front rotors because I don't think I saw it available on their site anymore.

is there an upgrade option for the rear that allows you to keep the same style parking brake?

the best bang for the buck are brakes from an infin j30
Same calipers as q45 just smaller better wheel options
Uses same s13 brake booster, bmc, and lines
Just drill them to four lug
