Electrical issues...battery constantly being drained on daily
For the past 2 weeks my battery has died 4 times and in the 2nd occasion I replaced it with a brand new one just for it to die last night after work. I'm seeking symptoms as to what it can be causing this, because when it comes down to electrical issues it's all rocket science.
I've already checked to see if any lights remain on once the car is parked and nothing, I don't have a radio installed nor an alarm, so those are out of the equation. I have yet to check if the alternator may be going bad. Currently the car clicks but, doesnt crank and my RPM needle starts moving back and forth (JDM cluster, if it matters). Any advice as to what symptoms or what to check would really help, as I'm trying to avoid taking to a shop. Lead me to what to check as far as minor things are concerned, i.e fuses, etc. kinda tough to work on the car with stitches on my right index finger. |

The easiest way to figure this out is to throw a multimeter on the battery and start disconnection circuits(I.e. Pulling fuses or relays). Once you've narrowed it down to a specific circuit, you can begin to trace where they go and attempt to find your drain. It's a daunting task, but it's the only real way to do it. It could be the phone charger you left in the cigarette lighter for all you know.
With the car running, your alternator should be charging the battery at or above 13.6V but no higher than 14.1-14.2.

Check the RED TERMINAL block on your Positive side of the battery play around with the connections or replace them it should have two wires going into it they are notorious for malfunctioning.
