Looking to change up my setup, and I have the opportunity to purchase for a very low price, from a friend a custom intake manifold, thats just awaiting some finishing(a tb flange)

My car currently has a 2876.86 on it now with 256's and pfc,greddy intake and plan on going to a 2871r.64, 256, aem and custom manifold.

Will the new intake manifold be worse for response than the greddy? Any opinions?

I wouldn't use it your welding sheet to cast never a good thing if you gonna do something do it right ya know. I would stick with the setup you have and go 4.6 gears in the back you will be much much much happier
