Hey it’s whatever... all good now. The hype is over... Yea I agree with you (last post). I understand. Its fun as shit to drive your car hard everyday and have battle wounds to tell stories about and shit. Hell ive had plenty of my own with my other 240 and many other cars ive driven. I know allot of heads might not like the car, that’s cool. It’s just the assumption thing that gets me, and not liking a car cuz it’s not a battle car. You can like battle cars and u can like nice custom cars, and there is no doubt im going to drive the shit of this car every time I have a chance. But hey to each there own it’s all good im not really all up in arms about it. So what ever. thnx for the love!! And for the different threads that helped me get my car done. God knows how many nights ive been on this site and FA getting loads of info.

strtracr9 (Dan) - Your sig is freakin HUGE.
s156spd (Tashi) - Did you stick with C-West because of your sponsorship? Just asking because Vertex would be HOT on your car.

Ken @ Motorrex really gave me a deal I could not pass up. Although it was not free was less then 50%. Vertex is a baddass kit and I would have loved to do it. I have done the cwest thing before and I remember holding the kit up to the car and it fitting perfectly. What a relief!! Ha-ha I can even remember my body man having a sigh of relief, especially coming from Hondas were kits don’t fit for shit, going to a 240sx were the first time I tried the kit fit perfect. I just figured ill stick with what I know. What’s in stock and hell it only cost me what a front bumper retails for. |

Its not even about that, its about designing a car to be driven or designing it to look nice -- you cant always have both. With our cars, there is really no option when it comes to nice looking urethane parts.. so everyone goes fiberglas. To me, fiberglas is crap and unacceptable for street use.. I'de never use it. But for others, its okay.. because they dont mind visiting the body shop often or just dont drive that hard. I dont leave scratches and rock chips on my car for show, I'm not trying to gain attention by showing and flaunting the wear and tear.. it just happens to be the way things are. Eventually, the car is getting painted.. I'll still drive hard, but I know for sure I'll be more cautious because you want to take care of the "new work" and upgrades. SO. Some people are over-protective of their mods, others dont really care so much. To me, I'de rather have scratched up parts and know that *I* was the one who scratched them, used them, and abused them.. rather than having it get worn over time by life's weathering or by some idiot who just backs into my car or something. Point is, we all have to realize that nothing in this world is perfect and that everything and everyone is disposable, especially when it comes to material objects. So, might as well have a blast and use things to the max. I tell my friends who fix up their cars like you do, nice job.. but good luck trying to enjoy it. You'll find that most of the time, you'll be worrying about where to park and whether or not it'll get keyed or stolen, NOT about driving and enjoying it. Much like having an excessively fine girlfriend, if she's showing off all the time.. its for everyone ELSES attention, not yours. Makes ya wonder... |

Tashi's car is hot as shit.
All i read on this site is bunch of complaining about how people's kit dont fit, wheels are ugly, wheels are not flush with fenders, car's are not painted, not enough power for all the flashy shit on the exterior... the list can go on and on and on! FINALLY Tashi gets his car done ( REAL C-West fits, nice paint, flush wheels, huge lips, nice HP) and now all your doing is complaining that is nothing more than a showcar! Is there anyway to build a car that will satisfy everybody????? NO!!! I know Tashi's car is HOT, You know Tashi's car is HOT! STOP HATING!!! I can't wait to hear the shit im gonna hear in a few months too. LOL |
