I was wondering if their were any really great shops in the Chi area that do really clean SR swaps that would have good references. I would like to have a swap done next year and just wanted to see if their were any great shops around here. If I lived in Cali I'd love to take it to Jspec and have them do it. They offer an S14 swap installed for $5000. That's what I'd be interested in.

There is a really great shop in orland park. its called Drift Ave. just opened up. the guys are really nice and they know what they are doin for sure.

My car is up there right now getting a redtop put in. The guys are very nice. But some stuff seems a weird. Like they couldn't wire up my abs to work with the sr. Other than that, there good.

I might get a 240 and a swap right away at this place... hmmmm... unless you guys know a different place...? thats cheaper than 1300 for labor!!!

They work mostly Honda but they also do SR's and shit. They're cool people. I wouldn't be able to "recommend" them as I have not gotten an SR from them but they did swap out my blown KA for a good KA once for $900 (new KA+tranny) and they did an excellent job.

I'm gonna have to check Whipfactory out... cause nissanpwrds14 got his SR swap done at drift ave and he said they did a shitty job I don't know any more details... I'll update you guys later on if they refunded his money or if they fixed the problem, or he will...
