Auto window. It went up/down fine for the first month after I got it, but just recently, I pressed the button, window was going up, and about halfway it just dropped really fast all the way down. I'm like wtf, so I try to press it up again, I hear a noise rolling up , but the window won't go up. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Cable must have snapped. You may need a whole new regulator. Pull the door panel off and check it out.

Yeah, that should be the problem.

What they said. Broken cable, replace the regulator.

Yea most likely its your window regulator. On my S13 that exact thing happened and it was the gear that had fallen off. I just welded the gear back on no problem since.
