not that ill do it, but w my mustang Ive gotten a few people come up to me in parking lots in nice ass benz, older weird driver and some young guy, comes up to me today and is like "hey ill fix ur panels all for 500" damn good deal if it was for real. im getting that it is a scam but how does he work. He gives me this business card larrys mobile repair. "we come to you" hes like man ill fix it today, the best part is I come to you. I am like sorry no money today maybe another. but WTF, another guy did this to me before. "comeon man get the money from ur parents now and ill do it today, other wise forget it, oh and sorry i dont have a phone number" at least today this guy had a card but anyone can have a card. Im sure other people have had this happen, im guessing that the guy takes ur car and u never see it again. never heard much about this. unlike w online scams and people sellin fake audio components. Anybody here have that happen to you.

Dont, they fuck your car, they are like gypsies, they will be gone the next day, and your dents will only be worse. Ive read on forums about it all the time, and surprised its wide spread. I think it was on honda-tech or something.

i had one of those guys follow me for about 1/2 mile trying to convince me to fix my dent.
although my boss had them fix his s600 a while back. the guy used spray paint to match the color....boss ended up taking it to the body shop cause it looked so badly done.

your boss should not own a s600 if he's having some "mobile body work guy" fix his car. are you kidding me? That car is like a 5 star restaurant, if you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it.

nah man im not talkin little dents, one whole quarter panel is totally fucked, one fender needs to be painted and front bumper needs a lot of work. donno if your sayin i should never spend that much or that little. I dont do body work yet and dont plan to for a while so id pay 500 but I know to do it right will cost much more.

Guy: Yeah me too. It looks nice on your car.

Me: Yeah, it makes my car seem faster.

My roomate had it done with some guy in a red pick up, he didn't paint it but he got all the dents out. Cost him like 300.00 for all the panels and hood, my roomie hits a lot of things when he drives I guess....but it's doesn't look bad, I'd never do it though.

back in 97 it wasn't known about the quality of work. he said for 50 bucks he'll give the guy a try. small dent i remember.

it's not a five star restaurant either. the main difference between the s500 and s600 is the s600 has a v12 and the s500 has a v8. i've driven both and they roll (side to side) like a hippo. the rest of the differences are some minor quirks.

s500 is about 120 g after tax and interest. the s600 will run about 140 or so.

the one that is a 5 star restaurant is the amg version of the cars. now those are great cars...performance wise.
