Anybody know of any roads or small streets that are good for driving around and practicing a little bit of hard driving? I can't do crazy touge yet, but I'd like to find some street that's not straight and learn a little about my car.

these are cool areas to race by 766 Vallejo St., 630 Valencia St., also 850 Bryant is pretty cool too I hear.

FYI: It's not a good idea to talk about places you want to drive hard on, on the internet.

FYI part 2: There's only like 1 road that's sorta twisty in SF (besides Lombard), but compared to the real twisties, it's a joke.

Anyone know of any roads near the police station that I can do some serious drifting at. You know I wanna make sure they hear me. That will make it alot more simple then posting the spots up on the internet where they will have to look up the information first.

Just so the record is somewhat clearer...I wasnt asking for "craZY LoCal DriFt spOts"...I was just asking if anybody knew of any normal roads that aren't just straight; somewhere where the road itself has a few curves or turns, I guess like the 152.
I got my car like 4 days before moving to the Bay Area, so i know nothing of the streets around here, and was asking for some local advice.

go to the roads around the east bay... around the tunnel... skyline... just basicly any of the roads that are on the oakland hills... aka the backroads

eh whats wrong with those roads?? if u just drive and not go crazy they are fine. You can enjoy the scenery and the fresh air, or drive a little agressive, u dont want to test ur limit cus if u mess up its over.. its not like we can do this "initial d" "drifting" crap on local curvy roads... they are too messed up, not well maintained, and narrow

You dont need to go crazy to crash your car. In fact most people that crash are going slower than normal cause they cant drive smooth. It's all about experience. Having a car for less than a week doesnt cut it as safe.

please don't encourage even a hint of ahem ** spirited driving** if your going to do it in dumbass locations and better yet tell someone where to go. Even if its a scenic route some noob will end up getting brave and lose control and might hurt someone. If they ask then they ask. They should know better not to. If they find it on there own or learn it word of mouth, that would be better than this. I fear the worst from someone getting all atlanta braves and then ranting how they were touging or drifting when all they did was lose control like a fucking idiot.

What's the Difference between an S13 and a 240sx, and which ones better?

Oh, and come some one tell me where to drive fast, cause this guy told me the other day that I should drive fast like on this one street about a block from the Police Station cause it was the best place to drive.
