I posted this on NICO, but i thought you guys might like a peek too.

START:
Make mold of trunk.

Attatch it to a piece of MDF.

Test fit.

Check the depth.

The layers.

In true Red Green fashion... duct tape.

Hole is Cut

Installed.

Sounds good. And i still have a full trunk. Practicality FTW.

ugh... I did this on my first car (an old Jetta), same box, same place. It'll sound SOOOO much better if you put it in the traditional spot, behind the back seats facing back, or against the hatch facing forward. Without getting to far into it, bass waves are very long, and the more space before the first reflection, the better.

Anyhow, if you're not an audiophile nut like me, I guess it really doesnt matter, and it is nice to have your whole trunk

^ ^ ^ I want the functionality of being able to flip the rear seats down. It sounds fine to me, sure i could get more out of it, but it wouldn't be worth the trade-off IMHO. If i wanted the best sound i wouln't have gotten a shallowmount clarion sub
