msd balster 3 coil installed, now have problems!
ok so i bought a msd blaster 3 coil and i installed it. after the install my car wont start! i am blowing my 30amp ingition switch fuse, i replaced the fuese and had power to my interior. then once i tried to start it using my key, the starter was making like a click noise. so we tried jumping it and nothing. (i think by this point i had blown the fuese again). so we try push starting it, and still nothing. so i am wondoring if i installed the coil correctly.
heres what i did. i took my old coil off and cut the wires at the bottom, (pos + neg) then i put connectors on the stripped wires then attached them to the coil, + wire on to the pos + spot on the coil and the - wire on the neg spot on the coil. now the connector that i am guessing is a ground i placed on the neg side of the coil and tighted everything down. the thing that looks like the ingintor i left attached to the stock bracket. sorry i dont have pics now but ill try and get some tommow. please let me know if i installed the coil right. and what you guys think it could be. thanks, dave
