if you don't want to pay 100 something bucks to fix the rim, then buy a new wheel...
160 is a good price, it's not like they're trying to fuck you... to fix rash they have to strip the wheel of all of the paint in the damaged area, if the whole wheel is curbed then guess what they have to strip the whole godamned wheel. if you have polished lips they have to scuff the wheel, then they need to weld on material and then grind it down to the shape of the others and obviously this is going to take labor... and well of course they just cant throw the wheel back on your car at this point, they need to re-seal it and paint it to match the other wheels and then check it for any deformities (before painting it.) if you think 160 is expensive for all of that work, then keep driving around on fucked up wheels.

It would depend on the type of rim of course. Mine were polished lips with curb rash and got charged $25 per rim. It was done in 1.5 days. |

Jack (formerly Azndoc) does fantastic work, for a better-than-average price. Plus he's easy to deal with (can find him on the forums or on AIM every day).
He's the only guy I'd go to.
