Hey everyone. I have a red top in my s13. I just recently replaced my t25 turbo that was blown with a Gt2871r. After weeks of problems getting it to fit and dealing with a huge oil leak this car is ready to go. I have noticed though that when I start it up from a cold start it idles as if it's missing. If I Rev it to maybe 3000 rpm real quick it then idles normal. My vacuum on the boost gauge is around 20 or 25. I'm not sure if this may be a possible vacuum leak or if for some reason the new turbo may have my plugs fouling or I have leaky injectors or what. It doesn't start rough and doesn't die it just seems like it has a miss when its cold. Suggestions?

Did you change anything other than turbo? MAF, ecu, etc? Most likely boost leak tho.

Have u done a pressure test on the system?

Boost leak is the first thing I'd check. But other then that you should be looking to upgrade your fuel system with a 255 walbro fuel pump, bigger injectors, and a tune.

Sorry it's taken me a while to respond back. I have not installed anything other than the turbo at this time. I have a 255 walboro pump already but yeah I will be looking into replacing the injectors and getting a z32 maf as well as a tune.. I assume to do a leak test u basically spray around with carb cleaner to find a leak?
